Don’t buy real estate with someone you’re not married to. Lots and lots of terrible outcomes.
And if you do, write up an operating agreement with clear guidelines and exit criteria, then get that reviewed by a lawyer

Pretty vague question, as you haven’t supplied many details, but I’ll give it a shot:
- Save up a 20% down payment to give yourself the most options when buying the house.
- Contribute as much as possible to 401k’s. The best saving vehicle for most people.
- Start/continue living within your means. On your HHI you should be able to save $75K+ a year

- Ibonds, approx 6% interest (be aware of 1 year lock-in, 10k per person limit)
-Short duration treasury bills (3-4%)
- Money market ETFs (BIL 3%)
-Savings accounts are simple & safe, and the difference for the few years of 1 or 2% wont be dramatic. They are being slow to raise rates, but will likely catch up to T Bills over the next few months.

Don’t live in nyc or boston…
Wish I had a choice but have to be here for now!
