Any word on layoffs at JPM?

So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Why is ATL irrelevant?

A6: You didn’t get which joke? The play on “jumping the shark” used by P1 (ref to tv show “Happy Days”), leading to my play on the reference, going with a low-key “Jaws” reference.
Or, did you not get that the remainder of the 2nd sentence is a quote from “Green Eggs and Ham” by Dr. Seuss.
No matter; there are your explanations.
Also, No worries, as stated, it was a compliment to P1 and a play on his wit.
No one else need respond to it unless they are going to surf that humor thread.
Namaste.

Fishbowl, Reddit’s r/law, and law.com / Law360 are probably the better sources for news, with the bigger stories usually showing up on r/law and a good chunk of news about what’s going on within the industry appearing on law.com. The only bad thing about law.com is that it’s expensive.
Reuters Legal is also a good, strong source. I can’t imagine an important story not being posted on there.
ATL occasionally has an article worth reading, but that’s rare lately and you have to sift through a lot of annoying content to get anything good. Sometimes I don’t even want to visit the site but I do anyway.
IG is okay, but it seems like NEP and BLB are 80% memes, 20% pretentiousness sometimes (especially NEP). Litigation God is probably funnier than both of those, and without the pretentiousness. Kudos to those accounts either way — it’s probably not easy constantly coming up with memes. I would toot my own horn too.
I don’t actively check ATL, but I’m subscribed to get emails for any bonus/layoff announcements, so it’s still helpful in that regard in the event I don’t hear the news elsewhere first.
What’s TLR?
Because A2 misquoted the OP, which was TLS

If you’re a few years out of law school, usually word of mouth. After that, meme accounts, TLS and here
