Now that Travelers has posted pay bands/ ranges in Workday for us to view, where did everyone come in at? I came in below the midpoint figure given for my role. For non travelers employees, all job postings for Travelers now has a compensation range in each job description, how are these ranges reflecting what you’re making elsewhere?

Also for what it is worth, they update the paybands with the most current market ranges in July. So, whatever you are below midpoint right now will likely be even lower come July when those figures are updated. Going to be really interesting at that time when EVERYONE is underpaid in the company and has to wait 9 months until 4/1 increases go into effect.

Are they sharing compensation for Canada as well or only the USA?

Too bad. If the comp was right, could see myself moving to the red umbrella eventually.

I am at the mid point…. when I was hired I was told I was at the top of the pay band. I feel cheated of what I asked for.

like

I’ve noticed in job postings the midpoint is what they show as the top of the range.. so I feel you on that one. Companies are more focused on comparatios and getting everyone to 100% of the midpoint. It’s ridiculous.

like

Do you think we are all going to take Travelers posting salary ranges as a market place disrupter? Especially when you note you are below the mid point? Compensation is important, but only a small part of factors to consider. Opportunities for advancement, culture, work life balance and leadership are just a few of many things you might want to explore.

Yeah I have to agree compensation is 90%. People are struggling to make their bills in my office because of their outdated pay band for my area. The cost of living is rising and a free lunch ain’t cutting it. People want Wfh we don’t care about culture, work is work. Sorry. This is why we are losing people in droves

I was at 1% above midpoint, a good performer, and have been in my role 3.5 years. How much below midpoint were you? If you feel as though you are a solid performer and have been in your role longer than 3 years you most definitely should have a discussion with your manager that should involve them knowing you need to be compensated at the midpoint at a minimum.

Where can I find this in workday?

Is it still in that place?
