Everyone i have spoken to said they reccomend 3 montgs or so. Once you start consistently passing practice exams with around a 90% is when they reccomended i take the test
Oh this is really good advice thank you!
sorry to hijack - do you have a PMI membership? is it worth it ?
It was worth it for me for the discounted test and access to PDUs, you can also burn thru pdu recordings before your 1yr pmi membership expires, let pmi lapse then easily renew your PMP when that's up in 3 yrs because you'll have your PDUs ready to go

Start studying now, not going to change much. If anything you modify. Are a project manager at @ Accenture?
Yes project manager for two teams currently. But just started studying and I read they suggest 8-10 weeks of studying which I obviously won’t hit by january 2nd
When did you plan to take the test? You’ll probably only get one shot at it before the materials change.
Good point. I’ve read so many things about the new test being harder but that’s likely because it’s new and no one knows about it not necessarily that the material is harder
