On a scale of 1-10 how female friendly is your company? 1 being you aren't being taken seriously and are dealing with sexism or inappropriate bs at work, 10 being you feel like the company listens and really cares about workplace issues that are specific to women.

I'm lucky to work on a team with other women in product and I feel like our little cohort is extremely female friendly, including the men. I can't speak to the entire company, though I haven't had to deal with any sexism since I've been here.

i'd say 8. My team is mostly comprised of women but leadership is not. It takes a lot to get an idea across and actually taken seriously by C levels and directors. They always think their idea is the perfect solution despite failure with their past solutions lol

Probably a 6. Lots of senior people saying the right things, but I still see a number of things that are concerning behaviour.

9 or 10. I work in education and often feel like women must be in product in order to serve our (mostly female) customers. My parent company has women at almost every level of leadership. It’s important to me, so I wouldn’t join an org that didn’t value us.

Absolutely a 10.
Even though being the only female on the product team I've never experienced any sexism and feel that I am always heard and appreciated for what I deserve.

A 10! My product team has a strong female presence in leadership and I have never felt less than because I am a female, from interactions with both men and women.

What are workplaces issues specific to women? Like flagrant sexism? Someone missing promotions just because of gender and nothing else? Or ‘I need to WFH because my husband is out of town and I’m managing kids and chores’.

I am. Hence the question. Answer it if you have one instead of deflecting .

Hmm a solid 7 for me. Tons of male presence based on the industry but the CEO is female 😊

I’d say my company is outstanding overall and there are women in senior leadership roles. It’s not perfect, but I work with mostly men in sales and it’s still 10/10 (my boss is a woman and she’s awesome)

I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult. Is this normal?

I live in a more conservative city. Does anyone feel like how you perform at work is a reflection of the gay community to your peers? For example, if you’re a bad performer, it’s going to be reflective of the gay community as a whole and could make it harder for the next gay person? Is it weird to think that?
