On the media buying agency side, what position has the most market demand and the most career development potential? Personally I feel that programmatic and search are paid more and more needed than social or OOH, not sure if that’s really the case. Also I feel like media planners or say account managers are somehow paid less in the beginning of their career, but have more room to grow in the future. I almost got out of Pharma... A CD from a Consumer agency doing solid work reached out, and I was so excited thinking I could finally do the kind of work I love. Then they told me they will fill the position with a current employee. I played it cool, but I can’t deny I felt frustrated. I don’t wanna do healthcare, but it seems like it’s the only thing available in NYC nowadays. I also don’t have many connections in this city.
