D1: I dont know why the other EY person posted that one right after me, coulda been pure coincidence (in that case, i feel his pain), coulda been he saw my post and wanted to mess around. Either way, i pity you for your inability to feel the most basic human emotions and your assuming the worst of people. And no, my BF (or ex) does not work for EY.

Sorry to hear it. It will get better.

let it go theres better for ya

What did he do?

Better guy is awaiting, always the case and guaranteed.

SM1, P1, EY1: thank you

Your phrasing makes it sound like you initiated. If it got to this, you're doing the right thing. Better for him and for you in the long run.

I hope my father dies before my mom. Otherwise he’d consider it my duty to drop my life & move home to cook & clean for him, like my mother does. My mom works full time but is expected to take care of all things in the house, as well as do the accounting for my father’s business. He’s helpless without her, & is a sexist asshole. (IE my mom sprained her wrist and has carpel tunnel but she’s still expected to wash his dishes and he refuses to just buy a dishwasher). Please God, let him die first.

Any craft beer brewers here?

In the last two year I’ve gotten more and more into alcohol free beer. The selection in my country (Europe) is still small and mainly driven by the big brands (e.g. Heineken). My idea is to start my own small brewery which only produces alcohol free beer as a bit of a pendant to the booming local craft beer industry. Any thoughts on that idea or someone who has experience in the market?

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)
