Fishes, OK so this is true. Wipro is delaying the joining by half a month due to some restrictions or organisational changes & not ready to compensate for that half a month loss of salary. Very rude & absurd behaviour from them. Hence rejecting the offer as such company if u aren't sure when to ask for joining u may revoke the offer letter later on. If your in line then why are you concerned with someone else’s pockets? If you keep your head facing forward you will propel yourself instead of continuing to get passed over by others while watching what every one else is doing.
OP, what are you trying to even ask? You start off talking about pay (that you say you are already in line with), and then ask what happens when you can’t perform the “new metric” (with zero context here).
Did someone you feel isn’t qualified get hired as a senior at your firm or are you thinking of switching firms. Whatever it is, you need to either remove the chip from your shoulder or consider not applying to a job you think you will fail before you even start.
Your aspersions are duly noted and at best are reflective of your workplace "culture".

M1 collectively speaks for the group "everyone" and tries to form a cohesive unit!
