Our attorneys have been wfh since the pandemic started. Our office lease is up for renewal and we are evaluating our needs for office space. Most attorneys want flexibility to come into the office but do not want to come in every day. We are looking at office shares, only assigning an office if the attorney will come in minimum 3 days a week, etc.

I'm wondering what other firms are doing about office space.

How has your company been dealing with pay bands based on remote location? I feel like there are as many strategies as there are stars in the sky, and everyone wishes they had the one national tier that a few SF/NY companies have adopted.

Has your company stated anything about training in-person employees to better work with and include remote team members as your company goes back to having some employees in office? Mine says they will but I’ll still a little worried.

Advice and/or consolation anyone? My wife and I (both above average health 30year olds) were trying for 11 months before getting pregnant and then had a week 5 early miscarriage a few months back. And it is coming aroun 695$ without insurance, I found good Rx coupon which comes around 200$. Does anyone have better suggestions to check for coupons? Are there any well-off suburbs around Chicago where there's a significant amount of black or mixed race people? Significant meaning 40-50%+. I've seen a lot of nice black suburbs in southern and eastern cities but less in the midwest.
