Sorry OP, you're not qualified to be an SM with that experience. M seems like the right level for you to target but thinking you're ready for SM tells me you don't know the responsibilities of an SM. Get Manager, excel, build your network, build your sales pipeline, and make your case for SM. Without a pipeline, and demonstrated experience driving Sales, SM isn't realistic.

You’re pushing for SM as a SC?
That’s not going to happen..
It will be hard to come in as SM if you are already not an SM, realistically can come in as a experienced manager at best. As for targets, 3-4m SM PL but most people I know exceed it every year

What's your YOE in consulting now? What's your experience selling and managing large teams?
SC to SM is a pretty big jump and "trying to push for SM" seems like a big big leap.
Consider coming in as M, negotiate salary and see if you can start M2. Get a little time internally networking proving the business case for SM.
What about Parthenon?
Partners. You don’t have a sales target until you reach that level
EY generally doesn't uplevel people. Think you're gonna have to tame your expectations.

Co worker was a VP and now an SC.
I have seen several SCs from my firm hired into EY as M recently, so that’s definitely doable. They had less experience than me.
4 years in consulting, 7 years prior in industry all FS.
Also culture is vastly different between B4, at least in my geography (EY). P is different from D which is different from E.
