Question regarding new hires: who is responsible for onboarding and training them? I think it's the hiring manager, but not everyone in my department thinks so. These are somewhat higher level individual contributor roles, reporting to a Director or Sr. Director.

What kind of training? HR should handle most of the onboarding.

Things like, here's your job, here's where to find things, here's who to partner with, and most importantly, checking in regularly to answer questions and reset assumptions.

I started interviewing early Oct with a company that reached out via recruiter. The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. The recruiter said they'd be making an offer but it's now been three weeks. Anyone else had the process drag on like this? Meanwhile I'm taking other interviews and was offered a promotion at current company, but was very interested in this one. What would you do?

Hello PwC AC Friends,

I have been on bench since I joined the firm 3 months ago. Now I have got project but still on bench. I have got mail regarding not raising snapshots because I was on bench so i didn't do anything except trainings and some learning. I don't have hours to raise snapshot for.

What shall I do in this case? I am very much worried that if i don't have any project hours to show, will they fire me or what actions are supposed to be taken ? Thanks.
