I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?

Ex-BB doesn’t mean they’ll attract better clients necessarily or that your experience will be better. They could be a way worse MD because they came from a much more cutthroat environment. Ultimately the ex-B4 MD is at a good shop and has established credibility there.
Also, it’s MM not ECM. The b4 MD may be better with smaller entrepreneurial clients because that’s their baseline experience versus the ex-BB may have worked on mega deals and is better with a more formal board.
Lastly, (I’ve seen this directly at a boutique I used to work at) the ex-BB MD may chase big deals that are unattainable in the current platform because that’s what they’re used to. Versus the ex-B4 knows their place in MM.
VP at a better name or MD at like a no name LMM boutique where you keep like a huge percentage of transaction fees
So in terms of hours: 65 at LMM and 85 at MM for context
If it’s Daiwa stay away the company is failing
VP with a better name.
