I have received an email after my interview with HCL from consultant stating I have selected for HCL technologies and asking for information like, when U was interviewed and whether I received any link for documents upload from HCL.
I replied to that email saying interview has been done and I am yet to receive any link from HCL for documents upload nor any call from HCL HR.

Anyone you are connected to on LinkedIn at the company. Typically there is a referral bonus and that’s always a great motivator for someone to get your link to the internal recruiter/someone in creative that is making hiring decisions.
Anyone you’re connected to, referral wise $, then anyone you are 1 degree apart ask for an email intro which I think works best. Department heads too, if you can master the art of summarizing your interest in 2 brief lines, the worst that happens is they don’t reply. I’ve hit up big fish & usually get a courteous brief reply or they’ll often even copy a colleague who may need me.

Just don’t be a creep. I’d say that is usually common sense but since I get this sort of people more often than not here’s a list of things to avoid:
1 Don’t fire up emails to everyone at the company.
2 It’s ok to nudge once. People forget to reply and it’s fine. We are all busy. but if you start asking about the position everyday you are done.
3 Do the homework. Check if the person that you are going to contact actually can do something about the position you want. I.e. I mostly work for one client and if you open my book that’s pretty clear. So if someone ask me about the position to work with another client I would have no clue. Since I’m not an asshole I’d point to the right direction. But still, you win point by being informed in the first place.
When I was a jr at w+k I would get CD level creatives asking me about opportunities. How would I possibly help?
4 - Don’t get angry with people if they can’t help.
Again, this all seems pretty common sense but you’d be surprised by the amount of people that gets agro when I’m not super responsive or can’t help at the moment.
Good luck.
Anyone you PERSONALLY KNOW is fair game, but don’t cold-message people at the company hoping they can help you jump the queue. If the position has been posted, that means there’s a recruiter whose job it is already to vet candidates and serve them up to the hiring manager. When you message the hiring manager (who doesn’t know you any better than the recruiter does), you are basically asking them to do the recruiter’s work for them.
