So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Start reaching out to recruiters who might’ve added you before on Linkedin - I’d start there since they are almost like a centralized station of information for hiring needs.
Also, not sure who laid you off….but if it’s GT…I’m sorry, you deserve better

I’d probably contact a local recruiter and they’ll take you through it
Exactly - set up calls with any local recruiter you can find. Update your resume and run it by them with what you’re looking for and you should get the most visibility that way
Also if you find a company you like, look directly on their website for jobs. Some companies post there and don’t use external recruiters. Best of luck to you!
