I'm already staffed for my next project, but this is just a really weird unfamiliar feeling. Thanks for your advice though 😊
It's been my experience that if you can get on one directors proposal and do good work they will call on you to support their stuff from there on out - I've been helping the same director for 2 years
Try to be as useful as you can while on the bench. Use your network to get on something.

I would start with your PML, they may be able to point you to an ongoing effort that could use your insight or other talents or a least refer you to someone in the know.
I just blindly emailed them when I first started lol what do you have to lose! also ask PML
OP tell your Resource Manager you are available or would like to help with proposal work.
Sometimes Partners and Directors check with RMs to find out who is available and can help a proposal or some analysis / research they may need.
