Larsen & Toubro Infotech Is it good time to join Cognizant now for Coimbatore location considering too much attrition in recent times along with many policy changes and do they have enough projects or will there be any chance of layoffs if we don't find any projects for our skill(Tableau in my case)? I have another offer with LTI, Coimbatore for same salary but i prefer CTS more than LNT. Cognizant Larsen & Toubro Infotech
Has Deloitte gotten laid off yet?
Hey Fishes,
Require urgent suggestions
I will be joining Oracle Financial Services Software(OFSS) and I am worried about job security considering the layoffs that will be happening in Oracle as per below link:
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.crn.com/news/cloud/oracle-considered-1b-in-cuts-thousands-of-layoffs-report&ved=2ahUKEwjv0Lyb3-34AhX29zgGHZGqBBYQ0PADKAB6BAgEEAE&usg=AOvVaw0c9Bz3n-mb4BhVdPKvIXnE
Require suggestions on whether it would be a wise call to move to OFSS now.

I really feel bad for people getting laid off. One day you have a job and can support your family and the next day you can't. I know it's scary. If you know someone getting laid off, please be there to help them. Encouragement, kindness, and job leads.
Seems like all offices would do this in a coordinated fashion. Rip the band aid off and let it be over with. Doing layoffs at different offices on different timetables seems to only put everyone on edge.
I have only heard of audit. Just super unrealistic growth expectations industry wide so there was a ton of over hiring and now they are clearing out.
Whoops sorry 🙈
For audit?
Details people
A few staff, a few seniors, and one manager, that I know of
Idk, from my experience at RSM they seem to go out of their way not to lay people off but that could just be chitown.
Denver
Raleigh
I feel like audit is getting axed everywhere...
🙁
@partner1 I agree. But I know my office still has a ton of jobs to finish for 4/30 so they can't afford to let people go right now but heard the other offices had started to slow down already so they had capacity to do it. Who knows.
Any numbers from these places? Amount of people in total, levels of those being fired, etc
I know my level is a bit over staffed at my office as part of the firm wide over hiring in recent years. No word of any axing here yet though.
SoCal offices have been hit also, not major numbers but still enough that people are starting to talk about it....
What levels are being hit?
Staff and seniors. Haven't heard of anyone above a level 4. But then again, I hadn't heard SoCal had layoffs either, knew about Raleigh, ATL and KC
I heard some tax are being laid off also
From what I've heard, as others mentioned here as well, it's mainly audit. But I suppose it depends on location.
