Just give up on sleeping if you work in this biz and have little kids/babies.
I average about 6 hours a night. 10 if I sniff some glue beforehand.
set boundaries people jesus. yes
Yes but only bc I freelance and they don’t want to pay over time lol
yes as ive completely given up
Feel like it's rare for any working adult to get a consistent 8 unless they're going to bed at like 10 lol
Yeah, unfortunately it's the only way to get everything done... But also it'd be nice to see an email come in after 8 and feel like I could leave it until the morning.
Rising Star
🙌 yea me. But I don’t have kids and my partner is retired.
Yes

I have three kids under 4. I'm lucky to get 3 hours a night and not wake up to my car keys in the toilet.
Three hours of sleep a night sounds awful!
Nope. Because when you’re done for the day (very late), you can’t wind down your brain and get to sleep …. Average of 6 hrs max.
Sometimes…maybe a week a quarter
what industry

BBH Global 1
No but that’s because I wake up in the night and get tempted to do my wordle and maybe a cheeky crossword or two but then spiral and end up doomscrolling until 5am
I’m a night owl by nature so it’s always been the case. The question is always, “how late can I sleep in?”
The last time I got 8 hours of sleep in a night was in 1983.
no
No
In the ad industry, it’s impossible to get 8 hours of sleep a night.
No because boundaries don’t exist or at least people don’t respect them enough for them to exist
