Should I leave my remote role/company for a hybrid role? Current manager fine but not sure they would put me up for promotion. The benefits of the role are great (good match, decent pay, good education benefits and decent PTO). The problem is I am not challenged. hybrid role would be different company that has good benefits (7% match vs 8%) . role sounds more aligned to what I want to do. The bump in salary is marginal but would cover commuting plus some. Help

hello! I’m looking to get some insight to see if I’m being paid fairly for where I’m at in my career. I’ve worked at the same company for 2.5 years. This is my first job out of college. Started as an HR Admin, basically in a call center for all HR related inquiries and now am a Sr Admin assisting with escalations, interviewing, training new hires, supporting my team, scheduling, keeping track of stats- phone calls, tickets resolved, etc. I’m making $52k per year and work remote out of MA.

There’s a practice group that I’ve been trying to find work in but whenever I volunteer to help, I always get roped in to do non billable work. In the beginning it was fine but now I’m feeling it’s never going to amount to actual work. Any tips to get more involved without all the non billables and how to approach this gently?

I’m a 9th year in a mostly litigation-based practice group at a one-tier partnership firm. My group’s billable hours have been low the last few years, so making partner will be nearly impossible, and a counsel position is not viable long-term in my group. What’s the best option here if partnership is the ultimate goal? Try to get a NEP/counsel position at another firm, which is likely difficult in my market, or offer to take a class cut by a few years?

Questions about job hopping-
My average tenure at a company is ~1.5 years (with ~11 YOE), but each jump I've made has yielded progressive/tangible career growth.

I'm concerned after my most recent jump (went from a product director to a head of product position at a different, smaller company after only a year) that I've kind of poisoned future career prospects at larger companies.
