Can’t answer about the title. If you will be able to do your very best at the new place and show important success, your title shouldn’t make a difference. Results are what counts!
Thanks, that’s my basic philosophy too, but some less charitable may not share such a perspective
Titles mean nothing. You have a “LinkedIn problem” — just call yourself whatever you want. No one cares.
It seems extremely easy to explain that it’s not a step down, if you ever even had to. All agencies are slightly different in title structure, I’d be surprised if anybody interpreted this as a “demotion”
I can’t speak for every agency but I’m pretty sure that my agency’s holding company does not use the “Group” title for account people, or at least in searching my network I could not find a single instance of it.
I think if people are going to look for shorthand when reviewing your LinkedIn and resume they’re looking at name of agency, names of clients, and number of years of experience first and foremost.
I think it’s pretty widely known that title structures are different at different agencies. Don’t think it would end up being an issue for you in the long run at all
Correct
Title hierarchies vary so much across agencies, especially when comparing holding companies to independent
How much higher is your comp?
Would not be enough for me jump ship even with a title bump u less you are very unhappy in your current role.
Do it.
Hey congrats!
