Hello, I have an interview coming up with Facebook (Meta) and its a manager role leading a global process team with multiple people reporting to the role.I have been told by the recruiter that Meta is fairly flat and the title does not really describe its seniority. I wanted to calibrate my experience to the role, would anyone have advice regarding levels at Meta and any other advice for an interview with them? Thanks

Hi Fishers, I have accepted Walmart offer and my BGV has started 3 weeks ago. How do I check my BGV status? I will be joining in mid May. Also, I have been hiding one of the company where I had worked for 45 days and then absconded due to personal issues. Would it create any trouble? They had created my PF account though. Any help would be highly appreciated
I got an offer from another company. Currently working in walmart. The main idea behind getting an offer is to ask for a salary rise. I was very much underpaid here. So I thought getting an offer will help increase my pay here in walmart by getting counter offer from them. But i am not sure if I discuss with my manager it will backfire me.Walmart

Take the job. Get the visa ASAP. Continue interviewing. If you get an offer at another spot, then evaluate... the reality is you may be happy at the boutique — do not jump if you like the people and enjoy the work.
There’s no need to tell them what you plan to do especially since you have an added caveat to your candidacy.

If the offering employer is sponsoring your visa process, consider sticking with them. Check with other fish on IF and how BCG or Bain support you in the visa process. Many larger companies have the luxury of drawing from an excellent pool of candidates without an expensive immigration process.
They’re all supportive (not applying for a H1B visa)
This sort of thing happens all the time. Telling them you are leaving after a month or two will be a conversation I wouldn’t personally relish but at least you can do it on a video call and, when things get awkward, pretend you have internet issues.
