I’ve had a total of 7 jobs since graduating college in 2012. So I haven’t stayed at a job for longer than 2 years. It hasn’t hindered me. I always chop it up to career growth and culture. But really I’ve only been asked once. I think it looks bad when you keep making lateral moves and don’t get anywhere. Like hopping from one staff accountant position to another for the past 4-5 jobs
I've jumped a couple times in short periods. If asked why, I always say culture fit. I.e. "the culture wasn't as described in the interview."

Yeah probably. 🤷🏼♂️
Then it comes down to you knowing about the conversation between recruiters. At this point there are no rejection reasons, just emails with "we've decided to move forward with other candidates."
Have you discussed this with the recruiters in question? I spoke to one about this very thing and she told me to try and keep it to a year minimum
Frankly I’m not sure if that’s some sort of rule but the impression I got was that it’s probably the minimum acceptable time for you to not be questioned about the hopping too harshly
I really Wouldnt go around collecting 3-4 month stints on my resume. I’ve had people question me hardcore about leaving a role after 1 year.
