Soon to join EY as a data engineer and I’ve heard that the cloud/data projects are more Azure-focused. I have been studying for the AWS Solutions Architect certification for about a month or so and am wondering whether it would be worth it to continue or if I should switch over to Azure?

Hello, I have 4 years of experience between Financial decision support and pricing. However, I feel like my experience is too narrowed to how my current company operates. I am looking to pivot into consulting at one of the big4 ( for ~2-3 years)or any other consulting firm to have a well rounded experience that could be applicable to any industry. Any advices ?or thoughts ?

Going to be bored over holiday season and was thinking about starting up the Python Institute Certifications (probably the whole roadmap). I would say I’m at an intermediate level currently. GTM moving back into consulting is a good idea in theory, but it’s like a train wreck happening in slow motion.

Hello, I have 10 yrs experience in the residential mortgage side including loan officer, underwriter, real estate ect. I am looking to move into the commercial underwriting space. I found a few schools with certifications. Can anyone recommend a certificate that holds weight when trying to break into cre underwriting? Anything I can do to stand out with minimal commercial experience? Most companies want 5 yrs experience and I am finding it hard to find opportunities. Thanks

What's the career path of your product/UX designers in your company?

I’ve got about 20 years cross channel experience in marketing, split between big brands and startups, and I’m considering pivoting into a data science/data analyst role. I know it will initially be a step back in comp but is it at all realistic for a person with certificate level experience in data analysis but a decent marketing management background to expect $150-200k comp or is that mostly for degreed candidates (or not realistic at all)? Case load= malpractice? Small plaintiff’s firm of 25 attorneys. I was a 2 year associate hired and given 50 active files in pre litigation status. 9 mos later a partner quit and I inherited 45 more. I got up to 105 files. Now I hover at 85 active files in varying stages of pre lit. I asked managing partner for help and was told to settle more claims to lessen my load. Is this what people consider negative work culture?

Has anyone tried to enforce a European non-compete/non-solicit (both foreign choice of law and venue) in the US? The employee moved with the company to the US 7 years ago and was never provided with an updated agreement. Assume for the sake of argument that the agreement is enforceable in the country of origin.
