I think most people here wouldn’t see much value in a 5 night credit towards status. Many of us are already staying +100 nights. You need to think about your travel pattern and see if 5 nights is make or break for you.
Not trying to be a jerk. Just saying...
25k points comes out to around $625 worth of benefit. The nights toward status are pretty insignificant (in my perspective) because if you’re traveling pretty regularly you can hit 50 in a quarter. I have never heard of this 5 free nights benefit which would be interesting if that was for each year you hit 50 (or is it only for your first year?) - that can equate to an additional 50k points but I’m not sure the facts are right on that benefit.
25k points actually is a decent amount, considering how valuable the points are - worth about $800.
The 5 nights are only valuable if you have trouble hitting status each year
I average 60 -70 nights each year
Really want to hit 75
Those extra nights might actually matter then. The extra point you get from 75 nights is nice, and I've used the Your24 several times already this year :)
