Yes, it’s therapeutic for me.

I’ve had them every week for thirty years. I would love to avoid them, but now I think they are embedded in my life.

Me too! Every Sunday and every morning as well!

I''m learning that the answer lies in being present. Plan for your week and once you have everything planned out , then just forget about it. Your only priority right now is Sunday.

It helps me to do something productive during the day, like meal prepping my lunches for the week. Then at least I know that's one less thing to worry about. I also try to get in my PJs and do my skincare routine early so I've got some time to chill out and enjoy my evening before bed :)

The biggest thing I have started doing is spending and extra 30 minutes to an hour on Friday, before I go home, making sure that everything is set up and ready for Monday morning. This allows me to have my full weekend to relax and not think about work. I know that everything is ready for me Monday morning.

I used to rush out the door on Friday like everyone else, but I realized that is why I was so stressed on Sunday. I'd rather spend the extra time on Friday while I am in a good mood. It is also easier on Friday, because I am doing it because I want to, not because I have to.

This weekend so far has been pretty fulfilling for me as i'm focusing on thankfulness but when I do get the scaries I usually distract myself by doing something that requires my full attention e.g working out, producing beats, or working even.

I have no shame in saying that I sleep my way through the weekend. I refuse to let work stress me out Monday through Friday and give me anxiety on the two days that I have off, so I am resting.

I have a coworker who keeps spouting comparative odds and situations in regards to the safety of the vaccine. Such as: you're twice as likely to get hit by lightening than have blod clots from JJ. It's very annoying and I find it to be really inapprorpriate, maybe because it's pushy or just I find these comparative things to be a bit irrelevant. How does one handle something like that? Can you shut the person down without starting a spat?

I joined a new team and have noticed something off with my Director over the last months (slurring speech, no show to calls or even full days of work). I finally asked a colleague about it today because I’m concerned about my Director. She confirmed that she’s noticed the same over the last few years, but no one ever says anything. In confidence she told me she can often smell alcohol. How can I help? I feel helpless. I’ve already lost someone to addiction and I can’t ignore this. Any advice?

Also, how involved are you REs? I’ve been through 2 retrievals now, but feel kinda in the dark still on a lot of things. Some of the nurses are hit or miss and if I want to talk to my doctor I have to schedule a consultation and its typically a 2 week wait.
