Hello Fishes,
I have 12 years of BPS industry experience with almost 9 in TCS working in different roles and domains.
TCS has helped me grow a lot over these years in terms of acquiring business acumen and knowledge.
However financially I feel i am lagging behind and i am looking to take that big leap of faith.
I have heard this community supports each other, request you to please reach out to me, if you can really help me take that leap of faith. Accenture IBM EY Deloitte

Same goes for people who claim to have an mba from Harvard Business School because they did the leadership development program.
I have an MBA in HBR case studies, thanks to Harvard publishing!
Preach! 🙌🏻
Do you feel threatened by this? How does this affect you? Seems like you are a little bit self conscious
Harvard extension School is less than community college. It’s basically a sign up sheet. What a disgrace
Douche who went to University of Alabama with me took an international class, lists his education as "Université Paris-Sorbonne" 🙄
Also calls himself a "Management Consultant" at IBM 😏
Who cares?
As a team lead who does a lot of interviewing, I find this incredibly frustrating. My HR team and I have become quite proficient at weeding these out at the CV stage, but the occasional one slips through to interview - where they are then inevitably found out. If someone is prepared to misrepresent something so trivial, I don’t trust their professional judgment enough to hire them
Also I think it’s a pretty disrespectful and insecure thing to do. You’re kind of taking credit for other people’s accomplishment by equivocating
This is so common it's hilarious.
Same with job titles... know an internal auditor who put that he was a “strategy consultant” on his LinkedIn 🙄
@p3, dude, they're international business MACHINES!
SC1 I have seen that too! I know someone who was in Risk Assurance who said he was a strategy consultant. Yeah, okay....
Lol are you lecturing us BCG1? Speaking of holier than thou. But no we're just commenting on people who misrepresent their education which is unethical and worthy of being made fun of
I know a manager who just has Harvard University for his master's listed on our internal site for posting resume information. It was really the extension school....🙄
I don’t think it’s elitist to be annoyed about people fundamentally misrepresentation get their education or experience. Obviously it doesn’t warrant more than an eye roll because it’s meaningless. But still annoying nonetheless .
@bcg1 nah I’ve noticed even ppl at my firm doing I️t and I️t just aggravates me because I️t makes the firm look bad
Hehe millennials
I have to say, the arrogance and holier than thou nature of this discussion is ridiculous. I could say wow a former Summer MBB knowledge analyst is now a consultant at an inferior non MBB. How dare they put BCG consultant on their linked in. Who gives a... grow up
