My younger sister works in the hotel industry, that was strongly impacted by the Covid context this past year. She’s has had a tough year mentally being on economical unemployment and having to find new (little) weekly goals to maintain her mental health. She bought herself a 2nd hand sewing machine and starting working on self-taught DIY projects. Feel free to give her some love, that would make her so happy. Thank you for her 🤗

Band 7 salary range?
Hertz or any rental car corporate codes?
I left consulting at PwC and work at a corporate strategy and business development team for a F100 big co (non tech space). I have been in this role 3 months as a manager, (total team size is around 15) and our group’s job is basically to interview, hire and manage consulting teams we hire to do all the projects running. For deal evaluation, to search and screen, transformation, tech, workforce and other strategy planning for markets, brands etc. AMA other than if we are hiring.

Hey y'all!
I'm hiring a creative strategist at the best ecom agency to work at in 2022.
For real, we get paid to stay healthy, pushed to take PTO, get free therapy and support in fulfilling our dream goals.
I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life working here.
Still hard work, but the culture and comp is the best out there for a small (~150ppl) agency.
DM me or apply through the link below if you're interested!
*We're fully remote btw!

New to Fishbowl?
unlock all discussions on Fishbowl.
It’s $95 per year, depending on the property I would value 100k points at ~2/3 nights at upper tier property. I already get automatic gold through my AMEX Platinum at Marriot and SPG, the Marriott card only offers silver. And it’s only 2 point per dollar spent not at Marriott. I have to book corporate travel with my AMEX so it’s pretty much a bust for points. But the card does come with one free night per year after year one so it does at least offset the annual fee.
You still have to spend 5k on the card in the first 3 months to get the 100k bonus points
Same question following
Following
Does the July 12 end mean you need to have spent the $5K by July 12 or sign up by July 12

Get it, it's a 5/24 card and pays itself off with annual free night; it's more about, you have to get 5/24 now cuz later you can't
I was going to spend the money anyway so I got the card. Usually an SPG card spender. Just got my 100k bonus points. Marriott devalued a lot of the properties so points aren’t worth as much but 100k is better than none.
New to the card game. How does one find out when the promotion will end?
What sucks about this card vs the older Marriott card is that you don’t get an elite night every $3k in spend. As someone trying to make lifetime platinum as fast as I can, this makes this card not so worth it. I stay 30-50 nights a year and the rest come from spend to get me into that 75 night platinum category
Can you still get the bonus of you have the old Marriott card?
No you are not bonus eligible for 100k if you have the old card

Is there gonna be a SPG/Marriott combined card after these individual SPG and Marriott cards go away?
Not sure what’s special about this.. SPG card would have offers for 35k SPG points frequently in the past (105k Marriott points). “100,000” looks nice but nothing special.
