I don't see it as companies walking away, more like they're just afraid of what's coming. The incoming administration has declared war on diversity, and corporate leaders don't want to get dragged into a big culture war fight. I suspect some efforts may continue, but at a lower profile. I'm not saying that's right or that it's how it should be, but I just don't think what's happening is a voluntary or rational decision.

Good thoughts here. I could see the same level of thought, especially for the bigger ones that have already come under fire from the right.

I hope that these organizations do see blowback financially. Corporations typically look to capitalize on diversity and inclusion when it’s viable, but not doing the work to see those employees and customers for who they are should be met with pushback. I love this data and hope that it continues to show this over time.
