No one mentions the psychological problems that we face when providing service, I find that it is a very delicate point but that is avoided to mention even when you are inside.
You will have to endure all kinds of insults and you will have to learn to use them when it touches you.
Nobody tells you that you will have less time with your family and you will surely miss important moments. It's something you know will happen but you don't really know how much it hurts.
They cannot tell you in words how horrible war is, it is something you have to experience to understand.
They don't tell you that basically all the time you feel lonely, even if you're surrounded by siblings you just want to be surrounded by your family.
You will have the opportunity to have new siblings outside your family.
I think no one is really honest about how hard it is to be out of your country fighting for it, I am not saying it is not worth it but it is really hard to adapt to the situation although no one mentions it.
