I’m grateful we are alive and well, and vaccinated but god damn. Affixing your kids mask under his winter hat to go into a freezing C train to have an outdoor play date sucks so hard. The winter will end, I realize. Just not tonight.

Going into my first weekend sober. Kind of nervous TBH. I know I can do because I've decided I'm going to do it, but I will definitely be feeling temptation. Wish me luck and share your coping strategies

My father had a sever case of Covid and he made it out successfully. I’m very grateful for this. Close to a year down the line, I’m finding that he is having severe memory loss issues and can’t remember significant details. Has anyone experienced or is experiencing this? Salam. 23M here - all my life I’ve had my back on our faith - never really prayed but had imaan (I guess). After bouts of depression from girl problems (🙄), issues within immediate family, being disappointed expectations I had for myself, etc. I’ve been working on bettering my situation over the years. Finally hit my breaking point. Been nothing but irritable & pissed off these past few weeks. Coach asked me on Friday when I’ll be taking time off & I just broke down. I’m a top performer & a workhorse. I’ve put so much effort into making sure my team is okay I forgot about myself. Now I am buried in work, performance is dropping & I can’t stop crying randomly. I kept telling people I am drowning but no one was listening. Coach is leaning to tell everyone to backoff thankfully.

I was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 12. My family did not opt to put me on medication. I illegally discovered Adderall in college. Worked incredible. Got diagnosed after college & after having been fired from my first job. Passed the CPA exams on Adderall. Went off of it again. I do everything well at my job except for attention to detail within my excel files & emails. Will taking ADHD medication really fix this? Does anyone else have this issue and was it resolved by taking medication?
