Anyone here who left fed job and regretted it?
Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

That’s exactly what I’m doing - but outside of PA. I’m nervous and excited
Sounds awesome PwC 1! Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely look into doing that
What has held you back from trying Manager 1?
It’s hard starting from scratch. It’s also hard to take a paycut. :-(
I can understand that. I am just already bored with tax work and want to experience some of the work that seems to be done in consulting

What kind of business analyst role?
Probably in Strategy and Operations. Seems like a role where you can get a lot of exposure to different industries and clients. I feel like an accounting background would be helpful but not sure to what extent
RSM 1, so did you start in PA and transferred to a consulting firm like Accenture or McKinsey? How do you like it so far?
Interesting I just got an analyst role in strategy in industry. Huge pay and 8-4 . Opportunities within the company to move. They wanted me because of my consulting skills. Just do some strategy classes online to learn how it works . Tailor your resume to show how you saved expenses in tax or increased revenue and you should be fine
Just move to advisory
Pwc1 how did you land that? What’s your background?
My background is tax consulting then a year in assurance. Hated it in assurance. Leveraged my experience fixed my resume and applied for strategy roles. I have an analytical background though, was seduced in to big 4
