Literally I feel like it’s always the same people helping the same people after awhile management Should really catch on and do something about it it’s very annoying !!
That's exactly the problem with going above and beyond. It's like the old saying, no good deed goes unpunished. If you help out all the time, people just come to expect it, and then when you can't do it they hold it against you. It's a lousy situation really, by doing a great job you can wind up catching more flak than people who are perpetual slackers. But, as long as you're doing right by your patients, you're doing the right thing, just take satisfaction in that.
This actually happened to me yesterday OP. We were already short and then another person called out and it everything got dumped on me. I was extremely stressed all day and it felt like the longerst day ever. When people get upset I just let them be upset. Sometimes you have to do what is best for you.
