@OP, passive aggression is a significant problem within the firm now. While you think you're 'helping' the culture by 'fixing' the Deloitte folks, you're actually negatively contributing to the culture, just like they are. Two wrongs don't make a right. If you have an issue with them, deal with it respectfully and head on. Don't use passive aggression and act like you care about improving the culture.

D11 I actually didn't know that was the actual title at D. I was interpreting it as I would "my staff." So the connotation may not be negative within your firm. Elsewhere, it can sound a bit pejorative.

I know a partner at D and she's repeatedly commented having staff get coffee, lunch and do other errands for her. I addressed it directly with her but she mentioned that's how she was treated when she was junior and saw nothing wrong with it 🤷‍♀️ Sample size of one but sounds like it might be more prevalent than in thought
