I mean, that's not surprising. For the most part, consulting doesn't really give you any resume skills.

What kind of interview?

Not sure what you guys are on about, I’m in sap and my biggest struggle was fitting all the in depth knowledge I gained on one page

P1 - it was an interview with the partner.

P1 - why lucky?

Lucky you @C1 @OP lol

What was the subject matter you were interviewed in I'm curious?

Financial crime topics

Anyone with bad experiences with ex-biglaw inhouse counsel?

I get the impression that many are biglaw haters. With some, any attempt at being service minded and asking "have you thought about X, we can help" makes them whine about scope and costs.

One GC I worked with even had on their resume (OP wanted resumes of key employees) as one of their skills "maximizing value of internal and external legal advice while minimizing cost"

hello! I’m looking to get some insight to see if I’m being paid fairly for where I’m at in my career. I’ve worked at the same company for 2.5 years. This is my first job out of college. Started as an HR Admin, basically in a call center for all HR related inquiries and now am a Sr Admin assisting with escalations, interviewing, training new hires, supporting my team, scheduling, keeping track of stats- phone calls, tickets resolved, etc. I’m making $52k per year and work remote out of MA.

Hiring managers: How is the interview process like at your company and how much say do you have when it comes to choosing that candidate?

I had a behavioral interview with a manager from another team and a case study with the hiring manager. They both took notes as I gave my answers but the first manager was very disinterested from the get go and was distracted as he kept looking away from the screen.

I’m wondering how much influence the first manager has since I’m not sure what he’s writing
