I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. I’ve accepted the offer but trying to be hopeful that I could make it more equitable in the future if I perform well. Are stock refreshers based on the initial RSU grant or solely based on performance? Google
Hi fishes Will work from home in FIS continue atleast upto Dec 2022? Any idea? FIS Global
I got offer in Bangalore FIS and my husband got an offer with one big company in Hyderabad. Both companies are currently WFH only but in future, I might have to consider moving to Hyderabad. Fis doesn't have office in Hyderabad so I was wondering if I can ask permanent WFH later. I guess I will be put in fis payment solution.
Thanks in advance. Kindly let me know. FIS Global

My husband works from home and works his ass off…barely even gets up from his desk for bio breaks.

I wfh Mondays and Fridays, and yes, sometimes I take naps with my cat. But I also bust my ass, get my work done at a very high quality, get very good performance reviews, and I'm always proactive about bringing ideas to my manager if I have downtime between assignments, as my work can be cyclical. I get that some ppl abuse the privilege, which sucks. But ppl hire me for my brain, initiative and quality of output (for the career I have and level I'm at), so if I work a 35 hour week instead of 40, as long as I maintain my productivity and quality, it should all be good. But too many employers have to do the stupid card swipe checks, keyboard activity monitoring, log in checks, etc. It's stupid, but ppl who slack too much and just get super lazy will ruin it for the rest of us.
I have seen people asleep at their desk while in the office, in the middle of the day. And I am sure that management has seen it.
Nothing wrong with taking naps during the day, but if you're in the office, why wouldn't you go out to your car or an empty office?

Never. Literally
This is what Jamie Dimon was talking about. WFH doesn’t work, people need to be in office 5 days, no exception, no excuse.

Over 80% accurate!
That’s insane, I barely take bathroom or lunch breaks and have calls and getting work done all day and then some.
My neighbor works from home. Walking dogs, babies, pulling weeds, running errands. We all know what WFH means. And why people love it

I was never able to sleep, but it was fabulous when I was pregnant and had morning sickness. Got to work from the bathroom floor and no one was the wiser!
That’s how unethical people function, sure. From a successful full time wfh-er for 10+ years, with an office option within 2 miles. If a nap is during a typical lunch window someone would take while in an office, sure, that’s perfectly ethical.
I think naps are fine.
