Not KPMG. Our paternity leave is horrendous
It’s not up to the team how much leave you take. The policy is 2 weeks for non-primary caregiver and 6 weeks for primary, but in my experience anyone can take the leave as the primary.
6 weeks is still terrible compared to other firms, and designating parents as primary vs. non-primary seems a little 1950s
EY has 4 months maternity and paternity leave 100% paid. EY also gives $50K in medical and $10K in prescriptions as a fertility and/or adoption benefit. This is huge! Currently taking advantage of the latter with the hopes of using the former benefit.
Currently at PwC and have close friends who are also parents at EY and Deloitte: my short answer is Deloitte outright, then EY and PwC after.
D has 16 weeks paternity leave
Massive family planning help for adoption/surrogacy
Like $3000 balance to use for emergency backup care for kids when nanny/babysitter can’t come on short notice
Lots of other stuff but those are at top of mind.
Even though my kids are teens/college age now EY has a great paternity/maternity/adoption/ Invitro fertilization program.
Deloitte has really good maternity leave and EY ‘s isn’t terrible either
EY is 16 weeks fully paid for birth or adoption - men and women - no restrictions. See other EY post above.
