Salary cut 20% first week the virus broke out, no bonuses this year, and it’s unlikely that we will get that 20% back. Good thing this was my first year and I earned all of 3 months of my salary. 😑

Looking to exit from 195k base to a sales role base 140 + 40 in guaranteed bonus year 1 to make up for the lengthy sales cycle. According to the new Wage Rules, are companies giving Basic Salary as 50% of fixed Pay? Should we ask HR of our current company or the next company to actually do the same? Or the rule isn't a mandate and it's upon companies to follow it ?

I have 9.5 yrs of experience and am currently level 62 in Microsoft. I feel I should be Senior SE in Microsoft (level 63) but when I got microsoft offer last year the HR said it is the maximum they can give. Fixed base is 28 LPA. There is an upcoming appraisal cycle in September, so I wanted to ask how much can I expect Microsoft to adjust the base salary in this appraisal cycle ( given my performance was decent) ?
