Hi I'm curious what's the average salary for a brand manager in NYC (CPG/Food industry) with 3 yrs of experience?

I am looking to leave my current position due to not having the opportunity to run campaigns and earn experience.
However, every interview I get asked about the campaigns that I have run.

I do create some personal campaigns and do social media content on LinkedIn for my personal profile. That is why I get a high number of interviews but I stumble at the starting line.

A good friend of mine graduated from Parsons this past summer, has degrees in Journalism and French, is a talented photographer and designer (which I feel I have a pretty decent eye for after working at a design-driven branding agency for half a decade). Working at a hospital with a million programs and services. When is developing an independent brand for a group justified, and when should it remain part of the parent brand?

I’ve noticed on Glassdoor, salaries for my level (Director) are higher than my base but have similar bonus opportunity. At what level of pay gap would you push or make a stink? In hindsight I should have pushed more during the hiring process. At 160k base now, seeing ranges in the 170s to low 180s. These are specific to my current company.
