TMobile or Verizon
I've used several over the years, but in my experience, Verizon has the best coverage area. No issues with dropped calls, etc.
We use Verizon. They have the best coverage in our area. Been a client for 15 years and I have never had any issues.
We had AT&T for 10 years in Houston with no issues at all (live near downtown but never any issues of not having connection or service while traveling globally). Just switched to Xfinity because it is half the price, who uses Verizon towers. We drove out to west Texas and literally didn’t have cell service in the small town we went too (a bit off the grid but still). Definitely not as happy with the coverage/service/support but not enough to change back yet. We will see if the savings outweighs the headaches.
I use Mint and love it. I prepay for the year. It's only $240 for the year for 10gb a month of data and unlimited talk and text. I can give a referral if needed. No issues with calls, texts, or data! Love it and customer service has been great when i needed to get in contact with them.
I use Verizon. I bought my phone outright so my bill is only $50/month.
Verizon + grab their 5G home internet for cheap
T-mobile never gave me problems. I used it for the last 10 years and it was good. Also, their pricing is better than the other big competitors.
It's houston, a major metropolitan area, any carrier will be fine, but some are better than others depending on the specific area you live in/work in. Most carriers have a coverage map that you can check out by typing in a specific address.
