National Security Agency. Multiple years.
Very curious to hear what that was like, assuming there’s even parts of that you can’t talk about
Three months.
Currently in a 5 month long process - they keep bouncing back and forth/stalling due to everything going on. Great opp, but sending a note later this week that I’m done
I’ve been in a 6 month long process as well. Lots of stalling, random meetings etc. its been implied (according to the recruiters and my own read of the situation) that I’m the top choice but the messaging has been confusing so I’m getting frustrated / plan on starting to look elsewhere too
My current VP role: approx 6 weeks from talent acquisition contacting me to a signed offer letter. About 3 interview rounds? It was clear from the first interview that I was viewed as a top candidate. I have never experienced a longer recruiting process than this, and when I hire for my team, I don’t drag it out for candidates. Most hiring managers have a strong opinion of your fit within a few minutes. Note, most firms have restrictions and roadblocks on hiring today so no surprise if the process takes several weeks longer now or goes on long pauses.
7 months, 7 interviews. Everyone wanted ownership of my hiring.
6 months
I keep hearing about these longer processes but mine have all been very fast (1-2 months max)
5 weeks
Chief
@Apollo1 that’s pretty much why I’m asking. All of mine have been about 4-6 weeks and that’s inclusive of background checks. I’ve been hearing about these marathon interview processes and am very curious as to what they entail
Three months, four including background checks
Three months , 5 rounds
6 interviews
For this role 3 interviews - about a month and half , then verbal offer, and then 3 more weeks for written offer
1.5 months 5 interviews. Job was cancelled due to coronavirus
3 months from app to verbal offer, 3.5 addtl. weeks from verbal offer to written offer. Background check in process
What don’t you like about Citadel?
I am currently going through one- 2 months, 5 interviews and currently on hold due to COVID
7 interviews over 2 weeks (they were all relatively short 30-60mins) and offer at the end of it.
The best companies to interview with are the ones that have that quick turn around. During March, I interviewed Wednesday-Friday and had an offer on Tuesday.
