What is the longest you have waited to hear back after an interview? I was in the final round of interviews 2 weeks ago and have yet to hear anything back. Hoping that is due to the time of year, but also understand the more realistic view of not being selected.

It seems like over the last year or two there have been so many stories about people having to wait an inordinate amount of time to hear back after interviews. And sometimes people just get ghosted. My guess is because it's an employer's market lately, the hiring managers aren't too concerned about being prompt, or, to be honest, showing much respect to candidates. So while two weeks seems like a long time, in this weird job market it may not be out of the ordinary.

2 months

My longest was about 3 and half months. I honestly forgot about it lol.

I waited three months once but that was because they were on a hiring freeze. They made me an offer and then called me and basically said they had to rescind and would contact me whent he hiring freeze was over. They did hire me but it wasn't until three weeks later. I would say if you haven't heard back then call them and follow up.

I’m interviewing for a marketing manager role at a company based in SF. I’m genuinely excited about the role and the company but we’ve yet to discuss salary. I expect to be asked at some point, but my research has given me a VERY broad range. So I’m here to do a bit more research. I’ve got 5 very relevant years of experience and will have an associate manager directly reporting to me. Are there any marketers out there who can share their salaries in similar regions and experience levels?

So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?
