Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

Full interview process though some of the partners may spend less of the interview time on a case. I don’t recommend switching firms unless you have no other option. People will assume you’ve be CTL’ed/transitioned from your old firm even if that’s not the case, you’ll lose some tenure/time to next promotion will increase, and you need to rebuild your network, get used to doing things differently, quickly developed a track record particularly if you’re trying to / need to get promoted faster, etc.
C1 were you happier at the other firm?
Agree with C1 completely. In my case, Bain de-emphasised the case round (I still had to do it but was more a check box than actual stage gate) and focused more on partner conversations and where a platform could be built (I was coming at AP level).
But! Moving between MBB is fraught with risk and people always assume that you were counseled out of your old firm. It’s a tough thing to shake when you’re meeting people across the firm in your first year, and people ask where you’re coming from
Good point. I guess because ppl think MBB do the same thing and only reason is CTL but there are more than just it.
I had to go through the whole process, but I’ll. E honest it felt like more of a formality
