Unfortunately it's not a place to do cutting edge crrative work right now. If you're a designer there are better design agencies. If you're a creative, there aren't many good briefs floating around. We make chatbots, websites and social "content" and "consultancy" work, which all brings in money but doesn't do much for your own book. And now with Nick leaving, there's just way too much uncertainty for some people.

RGA everywhere is pretending to be a consultancy - when the consultants admit they’re winging it because they’re just strategists who don’t know how to do comms - with insane rates and a system of allocation that is good for a 1960 accountancy firm. So much for being innovators!

Exec Producer, you’re right, but that’s why RGA system doesn’t work. Consultancies are much bigger and have tons of minions to do data crunching and propose real business plans with figures and forecasts. And chatbots and social content can be done by small firms that are 10 times cheaper...

I don’t even know who the hell works on Nike anymore. I see w+k are supposed to be the main agency but then they work with bbh, r/ga and akqa as well and some other random ones in different countries.
As much as it might not be the most fun work to do, and RGA aside, I believe that things like chat bots, social “content” and consultancy work are actually going to be what keeps you employed in the next bunch of years.

I didn't like R/GA. Talent are numbers on a paper that lead to insights towards billability and utilization. And if either of those numbers were/are low for you... Then get your resume ready now because their annual summer cuts are around the corner.
