Equivalent to the non-MC Strategy Consulting progression in the PwC salary sheet that floats around on here (just google it, it’s a GSheet). Mostly ODDs, relatively grind culture, but good senses of humor throughout. A bit partitioned by industry “pods” and each one has a slightly different culture, but related. Happy to answer more.

On a deal probably 70/wk including a slight bit of weekend work depending on the partner/deal. Value creation, maybe 55-60 but those probably have wider variance. 65% deal work vs 35% vc work, although a bit more vc work this past summer due to macroeconomic factors.

Can share about my experience joining in the past year, what it's like in my specific pod, etc. Salary info is indeed on the PWC salary sheet under the Strategy Consulting section.

+1 for the things my colleagues have said; other big 4s have actually inflated manager titles. I think EYP now falls it a Director.

With 13.5 Lpa currently i’m at 12 and made switch on march.
Though my current company is an mnc but not that big and no work pressure is there, amazing work life balance. However, there is little to no learning and its very slow, the project is just starting and the client itself is not clear what they want. Do you think I should switch just because its a big 4. Please help me decide. Yoe -3.5

I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. Also, I have an idea of what I should be compensated in this type of role, but any insights on how they pay compared to others would be helpful. Are you traveling during the pandemic or have client interactions been virtual? Lastly, if you are a consultant here, are you on billable hours? My current consulting role is not - so this would be new.

So I work as an assistant manager at a restaurant for the past 9 months. I've worked in restaurants for the past 6 years science I was 16. Now I'm 22. I went to a trade school for media and film. I got a dream opportunity to work in the field making about the same or 10% more. I told myself the only reason I'd leave this company is for this type of job. Should I take the chance at this job and leave the restaurant that is on the rise and growing?

💲For those who DON'T think a six figure salary is possible:

👉Just ask for it. Really, you would be surprised. Might be easier to switch to a new company and ask. I did that 3 years into my career.

And 🛑 wasting your time at a company that under-values you severely. Sometimes switching companies every 2 years or so will allow you to keep raising the bar for yourself.
