So incredibly unmotivated and hating everyone today.
Only if both are unmarried and unpaired and one of you quits

Absolutely never
To elaborate- beyond “don’t shit where you eat” the inherent power imbalance causes MANY problems
I had a friend in this situation. They refused to do anything while they worked together. As soon as one quit, they started dating. They are now married with a kid and one on the way.
It will be a disaster if you start anything while they are still your boss. At a minimum, you need to move teams so you're not in a direct reporting line and they have less effect on your career
My dad had to fire my mom and then called her afterwards and asked her out. It’s a miracle I exist. Anyway, don’t do it until/unless one of you leaves.
No. It does not ever work out well.
This is a solid plan to learn the hard way about where power sits in your organization though!
Found out mine sits at the top. Leadership taking advantage of reports obviously is okay.
You could make it work. Might have to find a new job, but who knows. What do you want out of this crush?
I just got fked over by someone in leadership after they made things sour with no effort to resolve. Retaliation at its finest. Have the tough conversations upfront. Keep records of everything so you have ammo and can bury them in defense if you need to. But I do hope it works out. So many people meet their spouses in the work place.
Please don't do it.
Find another job and then find out if it's a match.
Likely to be disastrous if you stay in your current role. Employee contracts actually forbid these relationships in a lot of cases.
Run.
I mean- it somehow works on tv dramas? But it could be messy. That’s why they’re called dramas.
I know multiple instances where people got married out of this situation, just sayin.
We got married!
You should totally do it
P1 don't shit where you eat is correct. Definitely don't make the first move. Just do nothing and stay focused on your job
