Not the end of the world. This is only the beginning of your career, this early on I'd argue better to get good experience on your resume than to make 15k more. In the span of a career that will last 40+ years, the first few will hardly matter. You're doing fine OP
Thank you...
You have hope! You control your destiny. I started as a finance major and went into technical recruiting. (Didn’t have much guidance and believed the company I could make a ton in sales). 34k base. I got an analyst job at mortgage firm 18 months later for 70k. Learned a BI platform with regards to development and SQL and now do tech consulting making 90k 8 months later. No path is linear but if you want it, you can do it!!
Come on dude or lady ! 45k is too low.. get the hell out to any where and you easily crack 70k at least
Columbia
2011, 45K base in DC. After 2 years I got a job at 65K, after 2 more years got a job at 90k, got promotions/raises/bonuses, and after 3.5 years recently got a job at 170K.
Don’t panic.
Analyst - $45... now im a Director 8.5 years later $245k. Hang tough its a hard thankless profession.

The 245k is how they thank you
This is what glass door is for!

Started at $6000 / year as a graduate at ACN in India. Took 10 years and lot of hustling, doing decent now with $140k / year at Deloitte in Australia.
No experience as a Level 1 analyst 52k at WF. 3 yrs later AVP with 85K

Staff auditor in Chicago, $48k in 2002 😳
Started at $0, 100% commission in retail investment advising. Transitioned to consulting’s 8 years later at 325k base plus bonus now. You can always parley to a better (different) situation if you have marketable skills and sell yourself.
I’m about to graduate and just got a job starting at 55k as a financial analyst for a large non-bank mortgage lender. I, too, am feeling like I’m starting a little low, especially after joining this app (today, lol). I just plan to get as much experience and to make as many connections as I can to get higher pay in the future.
Same 😕
2010 - $13/hr as a data entry temp
2020 - $157k/yr as a tech consultant
C - experienced hire - advisory GPS - $75K
55k/yr base in NYC in 2010. (State years and locations, everyone! 60k in SF in 2020 is not the same as 45k in Dallas in 2012!)
OP, you are being underpaid, though you might have to leave SC for more pay. You could probably make 60k in Atlanta or Charlotte easily, with maybe a year of work experience to give yourself some credibility.
60k, entry level non-technical @ BAH in July 2018
Started as a Business Analyst at 50k and now at 120k. Took 6 years.
Chicago
For context, you need to explain you’re with the AC and what that is.
There’s little hope for you in the AC unfortunately, from what I’ve heard. The best thing you can do is get some experience there and use the PwC brand name to jump elsewhere.
As a recent grad and who didn’t recruit straight into consulting, your options are limited without experience.
I’m not an authority on it. But I’d recommend posting in the PwC bowl. People will have more insight there.
