Favoritism. That will 100% destroy morale.
Favoritism, bullying, dodging accountability, discounting their teams knowledge and experience… the list goes on
Micro managing!
Micromanaging, bringing other coworkers down, putting the blame on the staff, not taking accountability, being two faced, violating employee confidentiality, and not compassionate.
Micromanaging, allowing bullying, favoritism
Undermining another leader or anyone’s work ethic, efforts, or teamwork, etc., by way of verbally undermining the person to other team members behind their back. Makes the team wonder if they’re being talked about as well, start to question the judgment and trustworthiness of the bad-mouther, and unfortunately often sets a little seed in the back of their mind about the person being bad-mouthed. Morale deteriorates and the team starts to crack. Any type of bad-mouthing is awful, of course, but undermining in this way is a certain kind of insidious. It creates a type of doubt that’s really hard to mend and makes everyone feel like garbage.
