What's the average 401k match and stock options being offered for you all? I find it interesting that management consulting industry contributes so little to 401Ks and benefits are high. I asked my financial advisor and she stated it's likely an industry issue because things look great in other industries.

Seeing how 401k’s, ira’s etc..are mostly based in stocks. What happens if we have another Great Depression and the stock market crash’s. Even if you have Real estate investments, if ppl can’t pay rent like with Corona, that’s not really helpful. So what are other ways in addition to those mentioned is there to help secure you into old age? 

I read this super interesting article about how big companies like Toyota are investing in social-emotional training for their employees and seeing massive benefits. I actually think this could be a whole separate class for students of all ages. Learning about conflict resolution, growing your own self-regulation skills...it's really important.

Currently at $200K base salary (31M) - after taxes, expenses (including vaca), and savings (maxed out 401K), I’m leftover with $30k-$40k. Is this average? If not, how are ppl saving more?

Should I get an accountant/tax pro? I’m sick of paying for $200 for turbo tax and still having to do all the work. I’m Buying and selling (mostly just buying) equities through multiple brokerages, maxing 401k and accruing interest on multiple checking / savings accounts. Not rly any tax breaks. What are questions to ask in an interview with a startup? I work at a medium sized company that brings in ~$70m in revenue with decent health benefits and 401k. What is a simple way to explain to my boyfriend that investing in equity with an expected return of 10% is better than paying off debt that is growing at a rate of 6%.
