I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.

McKinsey & Company I received an offer from McKinsey & Company in 2021 and I’ll be starting later this year after graduation. Obviously because of the pandemic, inflation is slowly trending upwards. Has anyone asked for a base salary increase before even starting the job? Any advice on how to approach this?

Tata Consultancy I am a manager in Capgemini... have an offer frm TCS. the designation being offered is Assistant Consultant.. 9.8 years experience( 5 yrs with Cap) Even though I am getting a package of 25Lakhs.. it seems like a demotion in designation.. Cg has offered to match upto 23.5 lakhs.. Is it worth moving to TCS on this grade? My primary reason for moving out of Cg is i m bored of beauocracy and WLB at current project. Is it a good idea to still switch with the counter offer from Cg Capgemini Tata Consu

It’s a meritocracy with a lot of emphasis on entrepreneurship. We run flat and lean - no bureaucracy, limited hierarchy,
Bonuses are tied to billable hours. So if you’re good/highly utilized, you can make more here than pretty much anywhere else in the industry. But if you’re a low performer or can’t stay utilized, base salaries are spartan.
Work life balance is decent overall, but it’s a consulting firm and forensics. There will be crunch times.
If you’re interested in this kind of work I see no reason why you would wait. A&M is one of the best - if not the best - places for it
More opportunity to take complete ownership of your projects/clients. If you are capable of doing so, it is not uncommon for relatively junior consultants to be serving as project leads and primary points of contact for clients. The firm lets you demonstrate your value and drive your own career accordingly.
Junior levels also have high levels of direct exposure to the client’s C Suite/GC, partners at law firms, and MDs within the practice.
And then while it’s not necessarily expected, the firm definitely emphasizes business development , networking, and relationship building at a very early stage and rewards people for participating in such activities, helping with pitches, or selling work
