What’s the maximum you would be willing to spend on a coach (outside insurance support) to help with your condition?

Guess I’m trying to figure out ball park per month/annual? Any advice gratefully received.

Good question. Depends on their qualifications and your commitment to doing the work. Coaching is often an accountability program. Spending money on it contributes to that accountability. There are a lot of free/low cost resources online, you just need to be self disciplined enough to follow the advice.

What are good resources?

Zero. Most coaching is such a scam with people who have no oversight/regulation, and have no idea what they’re doing. I have been around a lot of coaches, tried more than a few, and it’s basically always the same. Sometimes group coaching is nice for the networking potential and conversations but beyond that, I would rather do therapy my when needed and specific professional development.

. . .I'd add $500 - $3,000 depending on how valuable it is to you.

I just got a really great offer, only downside is the eligibility for maternity leave is after 12 months of employment. We got a faint positive today but have had so many chemical pregnancies over the past year that I am not confident it will stick this time BUT I am on aspirin and progesterone for this try … so it could.. I want to see if I could negotiate being eligible earlier but I also don’t want them to think I’m pregnant when I’m not actually… How would you approach the conversation?

Saw my therapist this past Friday and he gave me a useful trick to build better behavior patterns. Whenever you have work to do but would rather nap or something, tell yourself 3 negative effects of the nap and 3 positive effects of doing the work. You might still take the nap, but if you can get in the habit of thinking of it negatively, you'll take less naps when you need to be doing other things.

Doesn't matter what the activities are. Could be working out vs eating more, could be socializing IRL vs wasting time in FB (lol)
