About 28% but I was extremely underpaid. So now I’m just underpaid.
Went from making 90k as a Senior CW to 250k my first year freelancing.
Speaking as a freelancer with a similar pay jump I had a mix of W2 and 1099 income so some of it got taxed outright. I still cleared over $200K after taxes. Good accountant will make the write offs really work hard for you come tax time.

I went from $55K to $105K from mid to senior, I was working without a raise at that first gig though for like 5 years though so that was dumb of me. This year I went from $105-$275, this time I went to work for myself, freelance babyyy 💸
Went from a senior being paid $80k to $120k.
50% jump doing a lateral move from Publicis to another agency.
58% increase in a lateral move to tech
Side note: agency backfilled my role as a Senior with a Manager level hire. Feels both vindicating and like a slap in the face… but I’m making WAY more money either way, so 💃🏻
I went for an absolutely sh*t of a salary to a not-so-great salary. That was a 77% increase.
Move from out in the sticks to London, trebled my salary.
Now you must add some bass to even things out.
